When it comes to podcasts, many people think of audio episodes that they can listen to, but in today’s age, podcasts have evolved into actual video talk shows. People can record themselves and guests talking about various things and topics and relate with like-minded individuals within that community.
One of the biggest challenges for us in the electrical field is finding ways to connect better and make things interesting. The electrical industry is very product-focused and heavy. We have two things we want to accomplish: selling and educating people on the latest products and educating and selling ourselves as a brand. So, we asked ourselves how we can stand out. How can we improve? How can we engage?
When it comes to engaging an audience, of course, we have social media, but social media is usually quick, straight to the point, and entertaining. There are also various other ways to connect with an audience, but a podcast would be a great way to connect with our tight-knit electrical industry on a deeper level.
What’s awesome about our podcast is that we’ll discuss the latest products, do product demonstrations, and have special industry guests like David Schick from Eaton. It also allows us to move away from the product-focused side and share the history and story behind our brand and where we are today.
